Actually, my best friend from high school, her family was a bit strange. Her father was/is(?) a wee bit of a lunatic/tyrant, and he flat-out refused to allow them to go to Detroit, and I remember her mother really wanted to go to the DIA just once, but because it wouldn't be safe...what a loss, too.
