It hurts like hell for me to breathe. I am covered in Vicks. I'm killing the decongestant. I think I'll go to the health center and see if I can get them to take the vise off of my lungs. This came on really fast, I thought it was just a really hard sneeze and it'd go away by this morning. Yeah, NOPE. The left side of my chest is just in sheer agony.

Thermo sucks.

Ann Coulter is coming to speak at WMU in a few weeks. Probably if they burn the campus down and keep it burning for about a year, the place will be purified for humans to once again use. And it's costing $20,000 for her to come here to speak. Please, can't we use that money for something else? The stipends of the chemistry grad students are really blowing chunks.

Thermo sucks.

I have yet to make it into the lab to do my first experiment. I had planned to do that today, but alas, probably visiting the doctor would be a smarter move. Spent this morning with Mariana attempting to do our thermo take-home assignment. 5 problems. I think I got one done correctly, but made a good enough effort on the other two. She put off starting it until last night, and is really regretting it. I at least got finished...well, except #5. Maybe I'll have time to have a life and do my homework for inorganic and plan out a prelab session, but I kinda have my doubts.

And did I mention that thermo sucks?

And Xantac. This is the 2nd time I've been put on treatment for ulcers. Oh, I also got to have chest x-rays and got my blood drawn twice. I still think having my blood pressure taken is my least favorite part of the whole ordeal, although matching arms with bruises from the blood being drawn is starting to get irritating.

But yeah, in any case, they told me I probably have a strained lung muscle (Tylenol 3), an ulcer (Xantac), and I definitely have anemia (follow-up visits). They really didn't have a clue what's causing the anemia, possible internal bleeding from an ulcer seemed most likely, so that's mostly where that one comes from. Guess I won't be participating in the blood drive this week.

I've e-mailed the guy I TA for, I'm about to e-mail my advisor, and I'll be clear to stay home for tomorrow in case Sindecuse is in fact worse than the Portage Death System. They're definitely not as polite.

And that is most definitely not my idea of a good time. I should probably call my father, ask how that insurance thing is going...
