I am screwed...f-ing thermo homework...
Mar. 13th, 2006 10:31 amWow, that was quite a storm last night, wasn't it? Thunder and lightning loud enough to wake me up and keep me up.
Been awhile since I updated, I believe...well, ok.
First of all, I get to redo my thermo homework. That went really well. I got 1 & 2 done, but never really had a clue about how to do 3, and didn't get to 5. 4, I got correct on the first try, hallelujah. Still, I have no chance of getting the next two redone before class, and Mariana had to ditch me for some reason...oh well. I'll just ask for an extension-that might work...I hope.
Friday, my mother called me for what had to have been the 5th or 6th time, asking me if I was SURE I couldn't make it to my niece's birthday party, and she'd pay for my gas money to get there. I kind of lost my temper, as I am bloody sick and tired of my mother always laying a guilt trip on me for when I can't do things. She later called back, didn't apologize, but just said she wanted to visit me sometime before May (I am busy for the next 4 weekends). Here's a hint-don't cancel for no reason when I DO have a weekend free like you did the last few times.
Saturday was mine and Jason's 1 year anniversary (and the day of Lexi's party-anyone else figure out why we couldn't make it yet?) We went out to Zazio's, a really nice Italian restaurant in downtown Kalamazoo. Not often I pay $92 for dinner for 2, but the food was fantastic. But I'll be doing a wee bit of cooking for awhile. I also got my neighbor 2 floors below me a rather nice noise violation. Ok, if you live 2 floors below me, and my floors are shaking, asshole, you are playing your music WAY TOO FUCKING LOUD. Actually, if you live one floor below me and my floors are shaking, turn it down, but really. What is it with inconsiderate assholes?
I bought new sheets from Target yesterday, mostly made from bamboo fiber. They are SO SOFT. As if getting out of bed for the day wasn't painful enough...I love my new sheets. They are my friend. :)
