this has just been one SWELL week...
Mar. 29th, 2006 12:38 pmOk, so I still have the flu, but I'm not feeling nearly as bad as I was on Monday and Tuesday.
I seem to have gotten in trouble with the department for getting sick...Dr. Reinhold e-mailed me, told me I should have asked the other nursing lab TA to sub in for me. Really, what on earth was I thinking, not asking her to sub for me?
Oh yeah. SHE HAS CLASS AT THAT TIME. And the reason I can't make it up to her at a later point in time? I HAVE CLASS AT THAT TIME. And Dr. Reinhold DOES ALL THE TA SCHEDULING. Pretty much all the labs are on Tuesdays and Thursdays. No wonder none of us can ever get any substitutes. You have to show up an hour early to set up, most of our classes are in the evenings, so the system is just beyond fucked.
And due to the influx of e-mails I've gotten from Dr. Davis, he apparently thinks I'm really only joking when I say I don't have e-mail at home (although he did end up calling me when none of his e-mails got answered, so ok, the exams have been dropped BACK OFF at his place. I don't want to even get into that mess.)
I'll probably be able to teach tomorrow. By 'teach', I mean sit in the corner and answer whatever I'm point-blank asked while I infect everyone else. And my throat is swelled up enough that I should probably go home and down some Benadryl.
I hate people right now.
