Too bad I can't really EAT much pizza, but I seem to be getting better, seeing as how that's all we ever have whenever the chem department's buying. I'm cheap enough that I eat 3 slices-2 with cheese too!
I took off for a weekend, and my friends page just got utterly filled up. :)
For starters.
My hair is purple. I dyed it on Thursday. I was pissed off and upset, and strangely, it was about several articles I saw in the news. The worst thing is, I can't do anything about those, so I figured, what the hell, I'll dye my hair purple. It didn't show up as bright as I'd hoped it would, but I really like how it looks. I'll probably redye it in a couple weeks when my parents visit. I haven't given them a decent heart attack since the night before I graduated, when they found out I had a boyfriend. :)
I got to ride the bus with a bunch of high school boys the other day. I'd forgotten how obnoxious and seriously fucked up high school boys are. What a bunch of rude shits. The bus driver had to pull over twice to get them to behave, said a third time the cops were getting called. I'm much less patient. I'd likely have called the cops on the second try. Then again, I give so few warnings to my students about wearing their safety glasses before tossing them out of the class...
I am sadly still anemic, and the dizzy spells that come with this are just seriously driving me up the wall. I spent yesterday and half of today completely unable to stand, and I could not keep my iron supplement down. I am so fucking sick of feeling like this. I don't even know how it got this bad, but it likely took its time developing, and it's definitely taking its time going away.
I went to Hot Topic, on the advice of
freya13j to look for some spiffy purple hair dye there. I didn't buy purple hair dye. I bought something much Much MUCH better. I bought a Daria T-shirt. Anyone who's seen my user icon will know why that has just totally made my day. I found a Daria T-shirt! I am so utterly happy! The salesperson asked me if I was finding everything ok. I told them I had found a Daria T-shirt and was now ecstatic. I then proceeded to ask if they had any other Daria stuff in stock. Sadly, no. Which might also be a good thing, as my wallet might be hurting a bit more. Because I also took Jason out for dinner. We hadn't been out to eat in awhile, excluding Carnie, because I've just been so damned dizzy and out of it lately, so it was a nice change from eating at home. Although I admit to being in love with all the Chinese food I can get delivered. :D
I guess the only other bit of news is that I am now on spring break. I'm really not going anywhere, since I have no vehicle, and I really have no desire to spend the week with my parents. So I'll likely just be living in the lab, and studying for the exam I've got right after break. It's for the course taught by my advisor. I currently have the highest grade in the class. :) Which is good, it's always good to do really well in a class your advisor is teaching. It's also good because thermo is going to kick my ass. The big perk about this week is that I do not have any labs to teach.
I have a new T-shirt to go break in now. Excuse me.
