I dyed my hair Vampire Red tonight.

The rest of me is now bright hot pink.






UGH! I hope this rinses off before Saturday. My parents are entirely too amused by me being sunburned an unnatural shade of bright pink.

You'll find that Vaseline (despite it's 'ugh' value) is very handy when gettin' your hair did by yourself. Simply apply a wide layer all around your hairline, and when you wipe it off, the dye comes right along with it.

Wearing a long sleeved shirt you don't care about is also a good idea.

I've, um, done this quite a few times. ;)

Hmmm....note to self, get a crappy long-sleeved shirt.

I've done this 5, 6 times now, and this is the first time the dye has ever covered me like THIS. It mostly happened while I was rinsing my hair out.

Is it the first time you've used Manic Panic or Punky Colors? Because those ones really like to leave remnants of themselves behind...

In any case, don't worry; it won't last more than a couple of days. :) And I bet your hair looks wicked badass.
