And to put some more icing on the cake that is my life, I was reading the news on my computer, when the monitor got a bit fuzzy, the computer kind of gave off some feedback, the whole thing then froze up, so I did a hard-restart...and now nothing works. Oh, the fan spins, the power light and hard drive lights come on, but it's not running at all. Jason thinks I either need a new monitor light...or a new computer. He really didn't sound too hopeful when I called with this latest development.

Well...it's four years old, I knew this day was coming. :( I hope we have enough money. My computer's kind of crucial for job searching. I can probably pick up something for cheap. Ish. I hope.

So what was wrong with it? I hope it was just the monitor.

I had a whole computer just up and fry when I really needed it and ended up buying a shitty replacement on a budget.

Oh, that sucks. I hope you can get a reasonable replacement soon. It must be the time for technical difficulties, because the fax machine at work ran out of ink, so I went and picked up a replacement. Well, it went downhill from there when a critical plastic part that holds the ink snapped off, and trying to jury-rig a quick fix only made it worse. Fortunately, the boss-man is picking up a new fax machine from Sam's Club and bringing it in. Also, for some weird reason, Outlook Express stopped working on the other computer. Since I have to work the midnight shift at the hospital tonight, I am hoping nothing takes a dive there as well.
